Algebra Winter Conference is a yearly conference in algebra at the University of Vlora. The conference is 3-4 days and focuses on some special topic each year. The main goal is to bring together researchers in a relaxing atmosphere in order to foster cooperation.
Topics include but are not restricted to:
- Error-correcting codes,
- cryptography; elliptic curves, RSA, hyperelliptic curve cryptography
- algebraic curves, automorphism groups, Jacobians,
- algebraic curves over finite fields
- moduli spaces, Hurwitz spaces
- computational algebraic geometry
- mirror-symmetry, string theory
- invariant theory
- group theory, computational group theory
- computational algebra
- other topics
